Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000

Job Summary
The Senior Production Analyst/Accountant will be responsible for production database setup, management, quality control, and regulatory reporting.  This role involves tracking performance management metrics, including monitoring and measuring results. 

Essential Functions

 
  • Assume responsibility of IFS/P2 Merrick configuration, setup, and act as user support liaison.
  • Manage IFS/P2 upgrades, new installs, and interfacing for all modules including ProCount, Field Operator, Carte, PetroRegs.
  • Maintain IFS/P2 Merrick production data and reporting processes.
  • Develop reports or processes as needed or requested to further improve data accuracy.
  • Perform quality control on production data.  Verify allocations are running correctly prior to month end.
  • Cleanup production/allocation discrepancies and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Run and distribute month end allocated production to Accounting
  • Run, QC, and file various regulatory reports including but not limited to Form 7, OGOR, EIA, etc.
  • Manage acquired/divested well production data.
  • Coordinate with EH&S, Land, and Accounting or similar groups for compliance and reporting.
  • Track status of SI well status and coordinate with land and regulatory departments.
  • General support for operations and regulatory reporting teams.
  • Work with fields operations and continuously improve reporting accuracy and ease of program use
  • Mentor and train IFS/P2 Merrick users
  • Other duties may be assigned as required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Working experience with IFS/P2 Merrick production data software, setup, and trouble shooting
  • Working knowledge of SQL programing language
  • Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and a high pace professional work environment
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • 8 – 12 Years of experience in oil and gas production data management, analysis, and reporting and accounting experience

  • Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
  • Occasional travel to the field office in Greeley, Colorado
  • The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Physical demands
  • May require occasional lifting of heavy objects.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
